About Me

I'm a family guy, I've been married to my wife, Sarah, since July 2009 and we have three young boys who are full of energy.

I work in IT for a major UK bank in a role that suits me perfectly as it involves being around people and problem solving.

Outside of work and family life I love football and I'm a huge Manchester United fan. I'm mad about music and I love to travel. My favourite holiday destination is New York. I've already visited five times and would happily travel there every year. I just feel like I belong there. You can probably tell from my photos that I also love my food and have been known to enjoy a drink or two.

I love spending time with friends and going out for a night out. I'm usually the muppet that gets a round of sambucas in and initiates conversations with random strangers and I have a selection of the world's cringiest dad jokes.

I'm also the kind of person who is compelled to keep delving into a subject once I've become curious, which is the basis for these blogs. This site is an opportunity to share my thoughts and opinions or things I've learned.
